Section 1 U.K. Independent status

Article 52 U.K. Independence

1. [F2 The Commissioner] shall act with complete independence in performing F3 ... tasks and exercising F3 ... powers in accordance with this Regulation.

2. [F4 The Commissioner] shall, in the performance of F5 ... tasks and exercise of F5 ... powers in accordance with this Regulation, remain free from external influence, whether direct or indirect, and shall neither seek nor take instructions from anybody.
