Depreciation is the systematic allocation of the depreciable amount of an asset over its useful life. Major assets may comprise components with different useful lives. The lives of such components should be assessed individually

The cost of intangible assets includes the price for the acquisition of the intangible asset. Other direct or indirect costs are to be expensed
