Name, commencement, application and interpretation
1.—(1) This Order is called the Local Authorities (Executive and Alternative Arrangements) (Modification of Enactments and Other Provisions) (Wales) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 1st April 2002.
(2) This Order applies to Wales only.
(3) In this Order—
“the 1972 Act” (“Deddf 1972”) means the Local Government Act 1972(1);
“the 1988 Finance Act” (“Deddf Cyllid 1988”) means the Local Government Finance Act 1988(2); and
“the 1989 Act” (“Deddf 1989”) means the Local Government and Housing Act 1989(3).
