Explanatory Note

This Order designates the District of York, excluding that part of the A64 trunk road situated within the District, together with most of its on and off slip roads, and the A1237 road, as both a permitted parking area and a special parking area in accordance with Schedule 3 to the Road Traffic Act 1991. It also applies with modifications various provisions of Part II of that Act to the designated area and modifies the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 in relation to the designated area.
