3. The five members of the Staffordshire Probation Committee appointed before 1st January 1992 by the justices for the petty sessions of Eccleshall, Stafford, Stone and Uttoxeter shall continue in office as if they had been appointed by the justices for the new petty sessions area of Mid-Staffordshire(1).
The new petty sessions areas referred to in articles 3, 4 and 5 were constituted by the Petty Sessional Divisions (Staffordshire) Order 1991 (S.I. 1991/2914).
