The route of the new trunk road lies between Burton Latimer and Finedon in the County of Northamptonshire and is about 0.62 kilometres in length, from a point on the Trunk Road 115 metres south-east of the entrance to Buccleuch Farm to a point on the Trunk Road 250 metres south-east of the entrance to Black Lodge.
