And be it further enacted, That at every Election for a Member to serve in Parliament for a County of a City or County of a Town in Ireland, the Town Clerk or other Officer having Charge of the Grand Pannel or Roll of Freemen of such County of a City or County of a Town, shall provide a Copy of such Grand Pannel or Roll of Freemen for each Place of polling Freemen at such Election; and shall appoint, or in failure thereof, the Sheriffs or other Returning Officers of such County of a City or County of a Town shall appoint a Deputy Town Clerk or other Officer, having Charge of such Grand Pannel or Roll of Freemen for each Place of polling Freemen at such Election ; and such Deputy so appointed shall take with him to such Place of polling a Copy of such Grand Pannel or Roll of Freemen, and shall produce and refer to the same, as shall be directed by the Sheriffs or other Returning Officers or their Deputy, presiding in such Place of polling; and each of such Deputies shall be entitled to receive the Sum of Ten Shillings and no more for each Day of his Attendance.
