30 (1) Section 13A (power of the Secretary of State to make provision about the combination of polls) is amended as follows. U.K.

(2) In subsection (2)—

(a) insert “ and ” at the end of paragraph (a), and

(b) omit paragraph (c) and the “and” before it.

(3) In subsection (3), omit paragraph (b) and the “and” before it.
