1(1)For the purposes of Part 7 of the 2000 Act and this Act, the referendum period for the referendum is such period as may be prescribed by regulations made by the Minister.U.K.
(2)The period prescribed under this paragraph must be a period which—
(a)is at least 10 weeks, and
(b)ends with the date of the referendum.
