26E+W+SIn the case of a widower [F2or surviving civil partner] who attains pensionable age before 6th April 2010, paragraphs 3C, 4 and 7A of Schedule 5 to the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 (c. 4) (entitlement to increase of pension or widowed person’s [F3or surviving civil partner's] lump sum) shall not apply unless [F4the widower or surviving civil partner was over pensionable age when his wife or, as the case may be, his or her civil partner, died] .
