(1)A club premises certificate has effect until such time as—
(a)it is withdrawn under section 88 or 90, or
(b)it lapses by virtue of section 81(3) (surrender).
(2)But a club premises certificate does not have effect during any period when it is suspended under section 88 [F1or 92A].
