27Short title, extent and commencement
(1)This Act may be cited as the [1952 c. 55.] District Courts (Scotland) Act 1975, and, except section 24(1) and subsection (2) below and the entries in Schedule 1 to this Act relating to the Magistrates' Courts Act 1952 and to section 18(1) of the [1967 c. 77.] Police (Scotland) Act 1967, extends to Scotland only.
(2)This Act, except sections 8, 10, 11, 14, 16, 17, 20, 23, 26 and this section, shall come into force on 16th May 1975.
