4.—(1) Sections 254A to 254E of the Criminal Procedure (Scotland) Act 1995(1) are repealed.
(2) The European Protection Order (Scotland) Regulations 2015(2) are revoked.
(3) In paragraph 5 of schedule 2 of the Courts Reform (Scotland) Act 2014 (Consequential Provisions No. 2) Order 2015 (establishment of the Sheriff Appeal Court – modification of the Criminal Procedure (Scotland) Act 1995)(3) omit sub-paragraph (9).
5. Despite regulation 4(1), sections 254A and 254B of the Criminal Procedure (Scotland) Act 1995 continue to apply as if they had not been repealed to a European Protection Order issued under section 254B(2) of that Act before the coming into force of these Regulations.
