Amendment of the Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010
3.—(1) The Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010(1) is amended as follows.
(2) In schedule 5 (improvement of public functions: listed bodies)—
(a)the entry for “Visiting Committees” is repealed;
(b)after “Highlands and Islands Enterprise” insert—
“any independent prison monitor appointed under section 7B(2)(a) of the Prisons (Scotland) Act 1989”; and
(c)after “Police Investigations and Review Commissioner”(2) insert—
“the prison monitoring advisory group established under section 7F of the Prisons (Scotland) Act 1989
any prison monitoring co-ordinator appointed under section 7A(2) of the Prisons (Scotland) Act 1989”.
(3) In schedule 8 (information on exercise of public functions: listed public bodies), the entry for “Visiting Committees” is repealed.
That entry was substituted by the Police and Fire Reform (Scotland) Act 2012 (asp 8), Schedule 7, paragraph 40(4).
