3. The Sex Offenders (Notification Requirements) (Prescribed Police Stations) (Scotland) (No. 2) Regulations 2001(1) are hereby revoked.
S.S.I. 2001/190 which was made under sections 2(6C) and 10(6) of the Sex Offenders Act 1997 (c. 51) (“the 1997 Act”). Section 2(6C) was inserted into the 1997 Act by the Criminal Justice and Court Services Act 2000 (c. 43) section 66 and Schedule 5, paragraph 3. The 1997 Act is repealed and re-enacted with modifications by the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
