Amendment of the Waste Management Licensing Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003

3.  In regulation 1(3) (Citation, commencement and interpretation)—

(a) in the definition of “the Community Regulation” at the end add “as amended by Directive 2010/63/EU of the European Parliament of the Council(1)”;

(b) for the definition of “the Directive” substitute—

““the Directive” means Directive 2008/98/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on waste (2) as last amended by Directive (EU) 2017/997(3);”; and

(c) in the definition of “the End of Life Vehicles Directive” omit from “as amended” to the end and replace with “as last amended by Directive (EU) 2017/2096/EC(4);”.
