2. The day appointed for the coming into operation of—
(a)section 30(2) and (3) of the Act (local housing allowance), for the purpose only of authorising the making of regulations, is 10th March 2008; and
(b)section 30 of the Act in so far as not already in operation, in Schedule 8 to the Act the repeal of section 129(4) of the Contributions and Benefits Act and section 58 of the Act in so far as it relates to that repeal, is 7th April 2008.
