The Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety(1), in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Articles 9(5) and 52(1) of the Fire Services (Northern Ireland) Order 1984(2), and now vested in it(3), and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Fire Services (Appointments and Promotion) (Revocation) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2005 and shall come into operation on 31st December 2005.
2. The Regulations listed in Schedule 1 are hereby revoked.

These regulations revoke the Fire Services (Appointments and Promotion) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1979 and all subsequent amendments.
