The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by Article 1(3), of the Criminal Justice (Evidence) (Northern Ireland) Order 2004(1), hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice (Evidence) (Northern Ireland) Order 2004 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2004.
2. Articles 41, 42 and 43 of the Criminal Justice (Evidence) (Northern Ireland) Order 2004 shall come into operation on 6th September 2004.

Explanatory Note
(This note is not part of the Order.)
This Order commences Articles 41, 42 and 43 of the Criminal Justice (Evidence) (Northern Ireland) Order 2004 from 6th September 2004.
The Articles amend the Police and Criminal Evidence (Northern Ireland) Order 1989.
