Single persons who become couples: further provisions
14.—(1) This regulation applies where 2 persons become a couple and—
(a)within the period of 12 weeks immediately before they do so only one of the 2 has a previous entitlement to a qualifying benefit and either—
(i)is within his bonus period, or
(ii)is serving his waiting period, and
(b)the other member makes the claim.
(2) Any bonus which has accrued to the person mentioned in paragraph (1)(a) shall be treated as the bonus of the claimant and not that person.
