SCHEDULE 9 CONSEQUENTIAL AMENDMENTS

The Land Registration Act (Northern Ireland) 1970 (c. 18)

1.  In Schedule 11 for paragraph 25 substitute—

“25.   Any order under Article 7 or 8 of the Airports (Northern Ireland) Order 1994.”.

2.  In section 133(2)(a) after “the Electricity (Northern Ireland) Order 1992” insert “or Part IV of the Airports (Northern Ireland) Order 1994”.

The Land Acquisition and Compensation (Northern Ireland) Order 1973 (NI 21)

3.—(1) In Article 2(2) in the definition of “aerodrome” for the words from “has the same meaning” to the end substitute “means an airport, as defined in Article 2(2) of the Airports (Northern Ireland) Order 1994;”.

(2) In Article 7(3)(a) for “section 13 of the Aerodromes Act (Northern Ireland) 1971” substitute “Article 22 of the Airports (Northern Ireland) Order 1994”.

4.  In section 174(3)(a) after “the Electricity (Northern Ireland) Order 1992” insert “or Part IV of the Airports (Northern Ireland) Order 1994”.

5.  In section 41(1)(a) after “the Electricity (Northern Ireland) Order 1992” insert “or Part IV of the Airports (Northern Ireland) Order 1994”.

14.  In Article 61(3) after sub-paragraph (r) insert—

“(rr) Part IV of the Airports (Northern Ireland) Order 1994;”.
