Transfer of business from company to society N.I.

40.   [F1 Sections 49 and 50 of the Insurance Companies Act 1982], as modified in relation to industrial assurance business by [F2 section[F1 82(5)]] (scheme for transfer of long term business from one industrial assurance company to another) shall, with the necessary modifications, apply to the transfer of industrial assurance business from an industrial assurance company to a collecting society.
