Removal to suitable premises of persons in need of care and attention N.I.

37.   [F1 Each authorised HSC trust] shall make arrangements in accordance with Schedule 6 for the purposes of securing the necessary care and attention for persons [F2 within its operational area] (other than persons in respect of whom a warrant may be issued under[F3 Article 129 of the Mental Health Order]) who—

(a) are suffering from grave chronic disease or, being aged, infirm or physically incapacitated, are living in insanitary conditions; and

(b) are unable to devote to themselves, or to receive from persons with whom they reside, or from persons living nearby, proper care and attention.
