However, they may postpone until 31 December 2009 the application of the provisions in respect of the official acceptance of varieties belonging to Allium cepa L. (aggregatum group), Allium fistulosum L., Allium sativum L., Allium schoenoprasum L., Rheum rhabarbarum L. and Zea mays L.’
