In Schedule 4 to the Representation of the People Act 2000 (absent voting), paragraph 6 (proxies at elections) is amended in accordance with this section.

After sub-paragraph (5) insert—

A person is not capable of voting as proxy at a local government election in Scotland unless on the date of the election the person has attained the age of 16.
