Challenge of voter

A person is not to be prevented from voting by reason only that—
a
a referendum agent or polling agent—
i
has reasonable cause to believe that the person has committed an offence of personation, and
ii
the agent makes a declaration to that effect, or
b
the person is arrested on the grounds of being suspected of committing or of being about to commit such an offence.

Paragraph (1) does not affect the person's liability to any penalty for voting.
