This Act may be cited as the Private Rented Housing (Scotland) Act 2011.

This Part comes into force at the beginning of the day following the day on which the Bill for this Act receives Royal Assent.

The remaining provisions of this Act come into force on such day as the Scottish Ministers may appoint by order.

An order under subsection (3) may include transitional, transitory or saving provision.
