9In section 11 of the Administration of Justice Act 1982 (maintenance at public expense taken into account in assessment of damages)—
(a)the words “, nursing home" are repealed;
(b)the words from “a hospital" to “institution" become paragraph (a); and
(c)after that paragraph there is inserted— “; or
(b)accommodation provided by a care home service (as defined by section 2(3) of the Regulation of Care (Scotland) Act 2001 (asp 8),”.
