Private legislation

7(1)An authority may, if it thinks fit—
(a)with the consent of the Scottish Ministers, promote private legislation,
(b)oppose private legislation,
in the Parliament.
(2)An application for such consent must be accompanied by a concise summary of the purposes of the proposed legislation.
