Introduction
1.These Explanatory Notes are for the Local Government Finance (Wales) Act 2024, which was passed by Senedd Cymru on 16 July 2024 and received Royal Assent on 16 September. They have been prepared by the Local Government, Housing, Climate Change and Rural Affairs Group of the Welsh Government in order to assist the reader of the Act. The Explanatory Notes should be read in conjunction with the Act but are not part of it. Where a provision of the Act does not seem to require any explanation or comment, none is given.
