National Insurance (Industrial Injuries) Act (Northern Ireland) 1966

1966 CHAPTER 9

An Act to consolidate the National Insurance (Industrial Injuries) Acts (Northern Ireland) 1946 to 1964 and certain related enactments.

The Social Security (Consequential Provisions) Act 1975 (c.18) provided for the continuance in force by regulations of certain provisions of this Act which had been repealed by the Social Security Act 1973 (c.38).

The provisions set out below have been continued in force by the statutory rules indicated—

(a)by the Social Security Finance (Transitional) Regs. (NI) 1975 (SR 1975/110)—

(i)section 2(1)(b) as modified (payment into Industrial Injuries Fund out of money appropriated by Measure of the Northern Ireland Assembly);

(ii)section 57(1)(a) as amended (payment of contributions into the National Insurance Fund).

(b)by the Social Security (Contributions) Regs. (NI) 1979 (SR 1979/186)—

(i)section 60(3) (in part) and (5) (inspectors);

(ii)to the extent necessary to preserve in force the regulations specified in column 2 of Part II of Schedule 3 to SR 1979/186, section 3 (payment of contributions) and Schedule 2 Pt.III (return of contributions paid erroneously).
