166Definitions for purposes of Part XI.

In this Part—

  • “authorised person” meansF1 (except where otherwise provided) a person being—

    1. a

      a member of the Royal Ulster Constabulary, or

    2. b

      an officer appointed by the Ministry, or

    3. c

      an officer of the Board, or

    4. d

      a private water bailiff;

  • “officer of the Board” meansF1 the Chief Executive of the Board or, an inspector or water bailiff appointed by the Board;

In sections 174 to 177, 179, 184 and 185 the expression “authorised person” includes—

any British sea-fishery officer, F2
