The Act has been repealed subject to savings for—
a
petitions for divorce or judicial separation pending at 18.4.1979 (the date on which the repeal of the Act took effect); and
b
proceedings (i) on petitions for damages for adultery, or (ii) for restitution of conjugal rights (including proceedings for certain associated reliefs), pending at 18.4.1979.
