Burghs of Barony (Scotland) Act 1795 (c. 122)

[1.] His Majesty may erect independent burghs of barony in certain parts of Scotland, as practised previous to recited Act. E+W+S

It shall and may be lawful for his Majesty, his heirs and successors, to erect such independent burghs of barony, in such parts of the sea coasts of Scotland, where the fisheries are or shall be carried on, in the usual manner practised before the passing of the M1 Heritable Jurisdictions (Scotland) Act 1746 . . .
