I1I27Conformity of certain plans and schemes with National Development Framework and strategic development plan

In section 62 of PCPA 2004 (local development plan), after subsection (3) insert—
3A
The plan must be in general conformity with—
a
the National Development Framework for Wales, and
b
the strategic development plan for any strategic planning area that includes all or part of the area of the authority.

In section 83 of TCPA 1990 (making of simplified planning zone schemes), after subsection (3) insert—
3A
A simplified planning zone scheme for an area in Wales must be in general conformity with—
a
the National Development Framework for Wales (see sections 60 to 60C of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004), and
b
the strategic development plan for any strategic planning area that includes all or part of the simplified planning zone (see sections 60I and 60J of that Act).
