Section 70 of TCPA 1990 (determination of applications: general considerations) is amended as follows.

In subsection (2), after paragraph (a) insert—
aa
any considerations relating to the use of the Welsh language, so far as material to the application;

After subsection (2) insert—
2ZA
Subsection (2)(aa) applies only in relation to Wales.

The amendments made by this section do not alter—
a
whether regard is to be had to any particular consideration under subsection (2) of section 70 of TCPA 1990, or
b
the weight to be given to any consideration to which regard is had under that subsection.
