The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 is amended as follows.

In section 31(2) (byelaws with respect to roads used as playgrounds) after “this section” insert “ made by a local traffic authority in England ”.

In section 57(7) (byelaws with respect to the use of parking places) after “Secretary of State” insert “ , in the case of byelaws made by a parish council ”.
